This is in the signed memorandum of cooperation with the oldest Italian women’s leadership organisation, AIDDA

The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria (CWBB) and the Italian business association, AIDDA, committed to mutual support in the implementation of activities aimed at the professional development of women and their full participation in socio-economic processes as well as elevating their role and significance in modern society. AIDDA is the first Italian organisation, created more than 60 years ago, to promote and support women’s leadership.

The two organisations, which share similar goals, also promised to cooperate in organising business visits and engagements with Bulgarian and Italian companies. Such engagements include economic and trade exhibitions, symposia, seminars on projects for cooperation, product and service sample demos and professional literature. The partners will cooperate in exchanging investment and trade missions at a government level.

These commitments were sealed through signing a memorandum of cooperation during AIDDA’s visit to Bulgaria, organized by CWBB. The document was signed by Antonella Giacchetti, President of AIDDA, and Dr. Eng. Boryana Manolova, Chair of CWBB’s Board and CEO of Siemens Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Ukraine, at the Embassy of Italy in the presence of Ambassador H.E. Giuseppina Dzara.

“With signing an agreement between the two most influential women’s business organisations in Bulgaria and Italy, we aim to promote the economic ties between our members, as well as to share good business practices and personal success stories through joint events,” shared Dr. Eng. Boryana Manolova.

“Bulgaria is a country with good conditions for doing business and established traditions of women’s inclusion in social and economic life,” comments Antonella Giachetti and adds: “For us, our partnership with the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria is extremely important, because we strongly believe in the importance of supporting associations of women entrepreneurs at a time when the world needs women’s values ​​to respond to the challenges and risks that exist at this point.”
