The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria continues 2021 to hold networking events under the motto “Welcome to the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria”. Successfuly held events last year proved that learning and sharing experiences and good practices between members are one of the most significant benefits for the organization.

The year began with the first networking meeting, which took place online on January 21, 2021 with a focus on presenting the newly admitted individual members who joined the association in 2020.

The Chair of the Networking Working Group of CWBB, Mrs. Irena Bushandrova, opened the meeting and welcomed all participants. Mrs. Vanya Kaneva, Executive Director of CWBB, also greeted the ladies present and said that we all “dream of the time when we will remove the screens and be able to talk live about our ideas and plans.”

The ladies invited to introduce themselves were Gichka Arnaudova – Sales and Banking Insurance Director, Allianz Bulgaria Holding and mother of 3 sons, Emilia Georgieva – expert in marketing and advertising and mother of 1 daughter, Joana Yoncheva-Filyova – owner of plastic processing factory and also a mother of 3 sons and Tsvetelina Tsvetanova – a professional in the field of sustainable development and a mother of 1 daughter. They all shared their inspiring personal stories, the lessons they learned along the way to their successful professional development and the secret to a successful family-business balance.

“It is always very exciting to talk to ambitious and successful ladies and mothers like you,” said Mrs. Boryana Manolova, Chairperson of the MB of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria and CEO of Siemens Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia, at the end of the meeting and thanked everyone for their participation.
