The third training from the series of building upon the Leadership Academy organized by the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria was held on 11 December in A1 Bulgaria. This time the theme was Management Styles, with highly experienced lecturer Lubomir Ivanov, manager of Training team in A1.
The chair of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria and the executive director of Siemens Bulgaria Boryana Manolova welcomed participants at the beginning of the training. They were from different companies and industries, which contributed to the meaningful discussion later.
During the interactive training, the participants worked in a team to build a common vision for successful leader. Then, in groups of three they defined the behaviors that make us successful in the workplace. After reaching a consensus on what good practices are, in the second part of the training, the focus was on behaviors that do not allow us to grow and to do our best not only in our work but also in our personal lives. Lubomir Ivanov introduced the Karpman Drama triangle model, including three roles that each of us occupies in different situations, but often feels most comfortable in one of them.
The format will continue in 2020, with training “ Supply Chain Management ’’ in January. Lecturer is Milena Dragiyska, CEO of Lidl Bulgaria and a member of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria.
