The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria presented at the Annual forum of the Network of Bulgarian training enterprises its internship initiative, which each year provides internships to 1200 students.

Participants in the forum, which was held on 14 and 15 April in Plovdiv, acted as managers in more than 20 industries, including finance, tourism and hotel industry, event management, advertising, marketing, photography and others. Some of them have turned to unusual business initiatives such as pet hotel, tattoo design, construction of modular houses. Over 800 young entrepreneurs competed in 14 contests.

The forum shows the advantages of the dual system combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills. “These are people who will work in our companies. This gives us a chance to form the staff that we need”, said Ruzha Zagorska, a member of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria.

Five students were awarded personally by Vanya Kaneva, the Board member of the Council. They are given the opportunity for a two-month internship at the member company of the Council.
