The entrepreneurs from the #BASE academy in Blagoevgrad learned the secrets of the successful sales process in the first lecture in May. Kalina Stancheva, an entrepreneur, owner of a consulting company for European and other grant funding and participant in the Leadership Academy of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria in 2015, focused on:

• What is the sales process?
• What are the prerequisites for its success?
• What should our offer be on the market of goods and services?
• How to determine the place of sale?

Mrs. Stancheva supported the topics with many examples and asked the future entrepreneurs to solve real cases. Divided into groups, they had to apply the tools for direct and indirect market entry, understand how they can use influencers as a channel and last but not least, the role of digital marketing.

The participants also actively worked on a task with a focus on customer retention and possible ways to increase customer loyalty. Ms. Stancheva received many questions and shared much from her valuable experience as a successful entrepreneur.

About the lecturer:

Kalina Stancheva is a consultant with 20 years of experience in pre-accession and operational programs of the EU, as well as in international grant programs. She has managed and developed projects for Bulgarian and international businesses under the operative program, Innovations and Competitiveness,  Rural Area Development Program, the operative programs, Regional Development, Environment, Phare and other international programs, such as Erasmus, LIFE, etc.

Her professional path began at the YMCA – Gabrovo as a coordinator of the work of volunteers, including such from the Peace Corps, USA, and later as a project expert. She continued in the private sector as an EU finance expert in the Bulgarian branch of the German holding, AMK GmbH. Currently, she is a consultant on European financing for the public and private sector, having prepared and successfully managed over 100 different projects to date. She is an ecology and environmental protection engineer with a specialization from Martin Luther University, Halle – Wittenberg, Germany.

She participated in the Leadership Academy of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria in 2015.
