This week, the participants of the Internhip Initiative visited UniCredit Bulbank and participated in a session on Effective Business Communication
As part of the initiatives of the internship program, several visits to the offices of companies, part of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria (CWBB), happened this week.
The first one took place on August 9 under the name, Bank of Your Generation, and was part of the program, Stay in Bulgaria. The participants had the opportunity to visit the central office of UniCredit Bulbank on Sveta Nedelya Square.
There they were welcomed by Vyara Atanasova, Manager of Individual Client Management, and Stefan Petkov, Director of Operations, as well as representatives of the bank’s PR team. The interns learned more about their work and saw different parts of the office.
The interns also had the opportunity to see some simple banking procedures, shown by the bank’s employees.
The visit continued in the training room, where Stefan Petkov talked about the importance of believing strongly in yourself and in your capabilities even in the moments when no one else does. That way, one day you will be able to prove to everyone that unattainable goals don’t exist.
Their next meeting was with Victoria Blazheva, Director of Strategy and Business at UniCredit Bulbank. She inspired them to believe that the future can be much better if we can take care of the nature around us now. Every decision we make today leaves a strong imprint on the next day.
The interns also met Tsvetanka Mincheva, CEO of UniCredit Bulbank and Chair of CWBB. She presented the history of the bank, her personal story as well as invaluable career development advice.
On August 10, the interns participated in the Effective Business Communication training conducted by Veneta Kostova from A1 Bulgaria. She shared strategies for effective business communication and how they are built. Veneta Kostova emphasized the factors influencing effective communication in a corporate environment depends, how they can be determined them as well as some good practices.
