- The famous actress participated in one of the traditional lunches with a guest
- Joana is working on an innovative project with added reality
The actors are storytellers for adults and for me the feedback is very important. This stated the famous actress Joana Bukovska who participated in one of the traditional lunches with ladies from the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria (CWBB)
Her statement provoked the ladies to comment on the new trends of storytelling in business and marketing. Zoya Paunova, CEO of Astra Zeneka, and Ekaterina Kirilova, member of the Management Board and Chief Business Director at UniCredit Consumer Financing, who are also members of CWBB, presented the Council goals and initiatives. Joana Bukovska was very impressed by the Leadership academy which provides free of charge training for its participants.
The actress spoke about her career path so far and about her future plans. She has been a freelancer actress for a couple of years and currently she is working on a play on the biography of renowned actress Liv Ullmann. The performance will be a mix between theater and cinema and will include an added reality that will be achieved through the viewers’ mobile phones.
Bukovska shared that she never compromises with art although she believes that to be an actor, it requires for one to be a “chameleon”. She often chooses the roles of women that have been “broken” but are strong and are searching for their place in life.
