The fourth edition of the Leaders Academy – a free training for ladies from the small and medium businesses – of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria, finished with a lot of positive emotions and wishes for new successful stories. The event was on 16^th of April in Unicredit Art Studio and gathered members of the organization, alumni from previous editions of previous editions of the academy, a lot of friends and supporters. Among the official guests was the mayor of Sofia – Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova – who is a patron of the initiative from its very beginning.

“Dear ladies, we are hoping that we have succeeded to give you useful knowledge and skills, which will help you to continue your career path with even more confidence, self-esteem and professionalism”, stated in her greeting at the opening of the event, the Chairwoman of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria and CEO of Siemens Bulgaria Doctor Engineer Boryana Manolova. “We are constantly actualizing the programme in order to make it as useful as possible. As a result of your efforts and feedback, we did it as well this year, and I can say that the Leadership Academy is developing and perfecting”, she added.

“The learning of new technologies and the development of managerial skills are only a part of the challenges facing each manager”, said to the attendees, the mayor of Sofia Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova. “In the learning courses of the Academy new leaders are born and are developed entrepreneurship ideas which is an added value for our city”, she emphasized.

The fourth edition of the Leadership Academy gathered a record number of candidates from across the country. 48 ladies were chosen to take part of the training program, which this year had a new module aimed at improving of presentation skills.

At the end of the ceremony, each of the participants in the Leadership Academy received a certificate personally from the mayor of Sofia – Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova
