The President of the Council of Women in Business Mrs. Boriana Manolova and members of the Board of the Council, Mrs. Diana Maneva and Mrs. Zhulieta Serafimova will participate in the first debate of the European Debates Initiative.

The event will be held on March 8 at the Representation of the European Commission. The topics to be discussed by the ladies from the Board of the Council of Women in Business include: “Women in Management – European Challenges”. Official guest speaker at the debate will be Mrs. Kristalina Georgieva, Vice President of the European Commission, responsible for budget and human resources.

This is the first meeting of the European Debates Initiative. It is held by the Deputy Prime Minister on European affairs and institutional issues, Mrs. Meglena Kuneva, with the assistance of the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria.

The European Debates Initiative plans a series of discussions on important European issues. Guest speakers will include members of the European Commission and other representatives of the European institutions, who will inform Bulgarian society about the European policies and priorities.
