On July 17, Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, Mayor of Sofia, attended the traditional business lunch organized by the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria. Mrs. Fandakova expressed interest in the association, as she and the members of the Council (women in top managerial positions in Bulgaria) had many topics to discuss and share best practices on how a woman could successfully manage a large organization.

Mrs. Boriana Manolova, Chairperson of the Council of Women, expressed her gratitude that Mrs. Fandakova had decided to accept the invitation for the establishment of mutual relations between the Sofia Municipality and the association. This led to a dialogue on how representatives of the public sector and the government could help each other to improve society and the economy of the city.
