Dessislava Raycheva joins the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria as a communications expert. She joins the CWBB Communications Group, and her responsibilities will include promoting the Council’s programs and initiatives so that they can benefit as many people as possible, its achievements as an organization and these of its individual members as well as building the image of the Council in the public space and the media.

Dessislava Raycheva has over 15 years of experience in media and communications. As a student at the University of Sofia, she worked for one of the first private radio stations in Bulgaria, Radio 99, and for 16 years she has been a host at the largest music radio station, Radio N-Joy. In the beginning, her journalistic career kicked off with internships at 24 Chasa, Cash and Banker, and later she added reporter and editorial work at TV7 to her media experience. In parallel, Desislava entered the field of communications as a PR practitioner in the music and production company, AveNew Productions. Her career development continued in the Bulgarian branch of the American advertising agency, Ogilvy, where as a PR manager she worked with major international and Bulgarian brands, including Unilever, Glaxo Smith Kline, Maxxium Bulgaria, Zagorka Brewery, Roca Bulgaria, Medica. Over the years, as an external PR consultant, she has developed communication strategies for Bankservice JSC, Brainstorm Consult, Fortissimo Fest, etc.

Dessislava is a co-founder of the foundation, “I Want a Baby”, and for over 15 years has been a volunteer in the communication team of the non-governmental organization that works to support couples with reproductive problems in Bulgaria.
