The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria announces Bulgaria’s first certification program for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. The overall concept and the training program are the result of a fruitful partnership between the organization and the Faculty of Economics at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The Academy is also a natural extension of the Council’s first National Awards for Inspiring Achievements in Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. Both initiatives aim to spark an active dialogue and action in society on policies to promote an inclusive environment, equal opportunities and non-discrimination.

The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Academy will start on January 26 and will continue till April 20, 2023 and will include seven themed modules. They will cover topics such as equality, the benefits of inclusion, overcoming unconscious bias as well as inclusive leadership and communication. In addition to rich content, the program will feature a practical element, including current tasks and a final exam. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation after completing 56 study hours.

Speakers in the program include Bulgarian and foreign leaders involved in the management of companies such as Progress, Coca-Cola Company, Siemens, UniCredit Bulbank, The Smarts Group, as well as professors from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

Those interested to join the Academy can do it by Dec. 23, 2022, at office@womeninbusiness.bg and after paying a fee. The fee for enrolling in the training is 2,000 BGN, all CWBB members have a 10% discount.

The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Academy will be taking place at the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University.
