• The forum “Women Talents in Business – Incredible You”, organized by Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria won first place in “Investor in Human Capital” category of the 2018 Annual Responsible Business Awards

The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria received a prestigious award at a ceremony on Tuesday. The forum “Women Talents in Business – Incredible You”, organized by Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria won first place in the  “Investor in human capital” category of the 2018 Annual Responsible Business Awards of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum. A total of 111 corporate social good projects carried out by 73 companies, which is a record high number, competed in this country’s most established and prestigious CSR and sustainability contest.

Biser Petkov, Minister of Labour and Social Policy, handed out the prize to Kamelia Moncheva from HPE and to Mariya Mavrudieva, executive director of CWBB. “Thank you for this award. It is an example of how the business and the NGOs could work in partnership and support the development of women talents and the employees in general,” said Mariya Mavrudieva.

Kamelia Moncheva thanked the Council for the partnership. She announced the transformation of the forum into an annual event that will have its second edition in 2019.

The forum “Women Talents in Business – Incredible You” was organized for first time on 4-5 of October 2018 as an expression of the common mission of HPE and CWBB to support women at work and their professional and personal development. The project aims to provide a platform and create an evolving community bringing together female professionals who aspire to improve themselves and are keen to grow and implement projects aimed at supporting CWBB goals.

In 2018, the forum gathered dozens of women, distinguished as talents by their companies. Guest speakers at the two-day forum were the most prominent names of the corporate world, managers, entrepreneurs and representatives of the NGOs.
