The event will be held on October 4^th under the patronage of Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva, Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Republic of Bulgaria

Geopolitics, business and media will be the subjects of discussion, separated in three different panels

The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria organizes a Discussion forum “Security and Sustainability of Bulgarian Business and Politics”. The forum is under the patronage of Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva, chairwoman of the National Assembly of Republic of Bulgaria and will be held on October 4^th, 2016 in Grand Hotel Sofia, Sofia hall.

In a series of discussions representatives of the business and political elite of the country will be searching for the answers in terms of improving the Bulgarian investment attractiveness and enhancing the quality of life. The participants of the forum will be discussing the following topics “Dynamics of the geopolitical environment and its reflection on Bulgarian business”, “Sustainability and perspectives for development of economic environment in Bulgaria” and “The role of media in ensuring and supporting the security”.

“The guarantee of economic stability is important for the development and prosperity of our country and it increasingly attracts the public attention, because the large scale of potential economic damages definitely makes these topics one of the top national priorities”, shared Mrs. Boriana Manolova, Chairwoman of the Management Board in The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria and CEO of Siemens Bulgaria. 

“That’s why it is necessary to keep looking of ways of economic stabilization, based on the development of structural, industrial, financial and foreign trade policies and to initiating effective dialogue between the participants in social, political and business life in Bulgaria”, she added.

Among the participants in the Forum are Mr. Tsvetan Tsvetanov – Chairman of the Commission of national security and public order, Georgi Krastev – Chairman of the Council of national security of Council of Ministers, Boyko Atanasov – Executive director of National Revenue Agency, Yuliya Nenkova – Chairwoman of Commission for Protection of Competition, Irena Sokolova – Deputy Chairwoman of the Commission of Culture and media of Parliament, as well as representatives of the member-companies of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria.

The focus of the forum will be identifying of the factors for creating safe and sustainable economic and political environment and aims to become one of the most essential initiatives in which public leaders and main experts will join forces to stabilize the economic, political and social environment. The event is the first one of a series of discussion forums, organized by the Council and focused on actual issues in business, education, stability and infrastructure.
