The Chairperson of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria Boriana Manolova along with Darina Stoyanova and Julieta Serafimova, members of the executive board of the Council, met with Deputy Prime Minister Ivaylo Kalfin, Asa Regner, minister of gender equality, children and the elderly in Sweden and Louise Bergholm, Ambassador of Sweden to Bulgaria.

During the lunch, they exchanged good practices about empowering women and encouraging them to advance in their careers.

“We also talked about gender equality because Mrs Regner is an expert in this field,” said Boriana Manolova after the meeting. “The topic is important for the Council of women and we are doing a lot in this direction,” she added.

Asa Regner was invited to Bulgaria by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

The ladies from the Council invited the minister Regner, Ambassador Bergholm, and Deputy Prime Minister Kalfin to the conference organized by the Council in cooperation with UNESCO in May.
