On January 22, 2015, the traditional lunch of the Council of Women in Business was attended by Eleonora Nikolova, Acting Director of the Center for Prevention and Countering Corruption and Organized Crime (CPCCOC). Mrs. Nikolova presented the analyst center – the story behind its creation, its structure and model of operation. Essentially, it is based on project management standards, a method that includes various types of analyses, management standards and inquiry for lack of ethics and integrity in conducting tenders. The center thus comes up with measures to address these areas.

Mrs. Nikolova pointed out the reasons why it is important to have prevention, and not just criminal repression, and commented on the comparison between the model used in Bulgaria and the one in Romania. The ladies present at the meeting were concerned about issues related to the usability of the business analyzes and Mrs. Nikolova gave examples of their use. She also commented on the economic impact of the measures being developed by the center, highlighting their positive side. Among the topics discussed were also the concession contracts and the project for trading drugs over an electronic platform, which is currently being developed.
