The seventh edition of the business academy for startup entrepreneurs, BASE, kicks off on November 8 in Pernik

The seventh consecutive edition of the BASE, the business academy for startup entrepreneurs, organized by the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria, in partnership with the America for Bulgaria foundation, begins on November 8 in Pernik. The program is happening with the kind cooperation of the Pernik District Administration, it is completely free and has been developed to support people who want to start their own business or, if they already have one, to grow and develop it. In this way, the academy encourages the overall improvement of the business environment in the region. The program is for both women and men with an entrepreneurial spirit and ideas for business endeavors.

BASE participants will go through training spread over 13 lecture courses led by proven professionals from various business fields. In addition to acquiring basic skills for building a  business, students will also learn methods about evaluating a business idea, managing finances, and developing a business plan. Their training will end at the end of February with presenting business plans, evaluated by a competent jury, with a prize fund for the best business ideas.

THE GRADUATES WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE PROGRAM WILL RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE FROM THE AMERICA FOUNDATION FOR BULGARIA AND THE COUNCIL OF WOMEN IN BUSINESS IN BULGARIA. The certificate can be acquired after attending a minimum of 10 lectures of a total of 13.
