Zoya Paunova is a Master of Pharmacy with a dedication and love for science and innovation. With a business education at INSEAD and specializations in the UK, Sweden and the USA, she has led AstraZeneca Bulgaria, a leading bioscience pharmaceutical company, for nearly three decades. She is one of the founders of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum and the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria.

Zoya Paunova is Honorary Consul General of the Kingdom of Sweden in Bulgaria, a member of the board of the Bulgarian Business Leaders’ Forum, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Together in Class. She is an active participant and partner in activities related to prevention and early diagnosis of socially significant diseases, education, preservation of the rich cultural and historical heritage and sustainable development.
