For the fourth time, the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria (CWBB) received a Distinguishing Badge from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. The award was presented to the organization for its significant achievements in the effective implementation of the policy on equality between women and men in Bulgaria.

This year’s recognition is for the GRACE (Girls, Roma ambassadors for corporate empowerment) project, which the WLBB implemented in partnership with the Arete Youth Foundation. By connecting girls from the Roma community with businesses, the initiative aims to inspire and support young ladies to continue their education and develop professionally. It gives ten girls (school and university students) from Roma background the opportunity to visit the offices of companies – members of the CWBB. Thanks to the project, the participants learn more about key processes in business, get to know the professional development opportunities provided by each of the companies, and gain access to experienced professionals and leaders.
