During the event, Hristina Staneva, Executive Director of UWBB, accepted the certificate presented to us for signing the Charter last year.

Speaking on stage, Christina highlighted the important role and active efforts of the CWBB in encouraging Council members to participate in training programs and initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion.

She also shared with the guests about:
– Our traditional annual awards recognizing inspiring business achievements in DEI
– The three editions of the first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certification Academy, which we organized in partnership with the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University, with the support of Lidl Bulgaria
– The distinction we have recently received from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy for the effective implementation of the policy on gender equality in Bulgaria with the GRACE (Girls, Romaambassadors for corporate empowerment) project.
