The emblematic program of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria has supported the career development of over 400 women in business in Bulgaria.

At an official ceremony held in Sofia on June 20, over 30 women entrepreneurs graduated from the tenth anniversary edition of the free training program of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria (CWBB) – Leadership Academy “We Succeed in Bulgaria”. The graduation certificates were awarded by Tsvetanka Mincheva, Chairman of the Board of the CWBB and CEO of UniCredit Bulbank, Eng. Dr. Boryana Manolova, Member of the Board of the CWBB and CEO of Siemens for Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Ukraine and Ekaterina Kirilova, Head of the program and CEO of UniCredit Consumer Finance.

“This is the 10th anniversary edition of the Leadership Academy, which brings the number of ladies who have gone through our trainings to over 400. With this initiative, we are not only developing the leadership potential of the participants, but also creating a strong community of enterprising ladies who have the opportunity to collaborate and work together,” Tsvetanka Mincheva opened the ceremony.

“For me, every graduation ceremony of another Leadership Academy class is a real occasion for joy and pride. Because with each new group of graduates, I see how a dream we started 10 years ago – to create a sustainable program for personal and professional development for women with different backgrounds and experiences, united by the desire for self-improvement – is coming true. That is why my appeal to all of you is – do not be afraid to dream boldly, because only in this way can we change society for the better”, said Boryana Manolova to the graduating participants in the academy in her role as the founder of the UWBB and the first chairwoman of the Board of the organization.

At the end of the ceremony Ekaterina Kirilova also announced that the application process for the 11th Leadership Academy will be launched soon.
