Two of the participants in the first edition of GRACE are now part of the team of companies that are members of the Council.

On June 14, the second edition of the joint initiative of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria and the “Arete” youth foundation – GRACE /Girls, Roma ambassadors for corporate empowerment/ was held. By connecting girls from the Roma community with business, the initiative aims to inspire and support young ladies to continue their education and develop professionally.
The program once again gave 10 girls, divided into pairs, the opportunity to spend half a working day in one of the companies – members of SZHBB – Siemens, HPE, Progress, EY and Nestle. They learned more about the business, the professional development opportunities that each of the companies provides, as well as hearing personal stories about the career growth of professionals from their teams. In the second part of the day, the participants in the program and representatives of the host companies in the initiative took part in the closing event, organized by the ladies of the Alumni Club of the SZHBB. With great emotion, the girls shared their impressions of the day and gained more valuable knowledge and experience from the subsequent workshop with the participation of successful ladies in business.
At the end of the dynamic and exciting day, Gergana Ivanova, member of the Board of Directors of SZHBB and managing partner in the communication group The Smarts, presented the young ladies with certificates for participating in the program and wished them to never give up on their dreams.
The event was also honored by representatives of the American Embassy, with whose financial support the program is implemented. The sweet ending of the day was taken care of by PRESTIGE.
