The initiative is a prolongation of the successfully established Leadership academy, organized by the Council and conducted in collaboration with Parliamentary Committee of Education and Science.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Module 2 of the Leadership academy for principals, initiated by the Council of women in business in Bulgaria, took place on the 26<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> of January in the International business center of UniCredit Bulbank in Sofia. This is an initiative, organized in collaboration with the Parliamentary Committee of Education and Science whose objective was to train 23 principals of schools in Sofia and the surroundings for skills concerning strategic planning and its implementation in the education. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to thank our host UniCredit Bulbank for the chance to make this training session happen in such a modern business center. Today\u2019s module of the Leadership academy isn\u2019t focused on theoretical preparation but on acquiring knowledge and new techniques for strategic planning during the interactive training\u201d, Valentina Dikanska, CEO of the Council, greeted the participants. \u201cWe hope that this gained experience will help you in the elaboration of your strategies. The know-how exchange between the business and the education will give us new horizons in order to create the contemporary school with ambitious students who one day will become well performing leaders and public figures\u201d, she resumed. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Academy, led by professionals, concentrates on the leadership abilities development and the encouragement of the entrepreneurship. Participating in the program the principals have to find solutions of business cases while using their experience in the educational system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am very thankful, that you are here today, because our role is to help the business and yours is <\/span>related to<\/span><\/span> the education. It is not very easy to switch from one way of thinking to another. I admire you all, because today you are here to make that footstep and we are ready to assist\u201d, shared Emiliano Steinfl<\/span>,<\/span><\/span> Head of International Center Clients <\/span>at the UniCredit Bulbank<\/span><\/span> Business Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event <\/span>conducted <\/span><\/span>under <\/span>the<\/span><\/span> form of simulation of<\/span> the<\/span><\/span> real business <\/span>environment<\/span><\/span> in Bulgaria <\/span><\/span>with <\/span>the <\/span><\/span>active participation <\/span>of<\/span><\/span> all <\/span>principals <\/span><\/span>in the program for leaders. The training <\/span>included<\/span><\/span> new interactive techniques, <\/span>related to the<\/span><\/span> strategic planning. Bulgarian<\/span> school<\/span> leaders<\/span><\/span> met<\/span><\/span> the new regulations for evaluation <\/span>the <\/span><\/span>quality and standards for <\/span>an <\/span><\/span>institution<\/span>al<\/span><\/span> assessment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The speakers in Leadership Academy are known specialists from the field of human resources, as well as top managers with proven experience in the management of leading Bulgarian and international companies. The program for principals\u2019 qualification is a sequel to the already established Leadership Academy of The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria, which is held successfully for third consecutive year and is focused on leadership training and so called soft skills of women at middle management positions and women-entrepreneurs, evolving and managing their own business.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
