The lecture was dedicated to the topic &#8220;Business Accounting, Financial Planning, Insurance and Taxes&#8221;, and the participants learned from Ganeta Tsolova how to monitor and analyze the financial performance of their business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training passed with the following program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Initial capital required<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Business start-up budget<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Monthly business budget<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Operating and fixed costs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Profit and loss account<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Cash flows<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Company accounting and taxes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Why is it important to be aware of accounting?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Accounting obligations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Accounting documents and storage of accounting information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Wages and social security<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Types of taxes and tax reliefs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Return<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Serious and complex topics for financial statements, balance sheets and accounting information were presented through many practical examples and tasks divided for different working groups of participants, who presented their results at the end. Of particular interest was the financial planning, as touched on the preparation of the business plan, which will be presented at the final of BASE to a jury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/womeninbusiness.bg\/new-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/womeninbusiness.bg\/new-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13801\" width=\"240\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/womeninbusiness.bg\/new-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2.jpg 480w, https:\/\/womeninbusiness.bg\/new-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Module 5 of the BASE program will take place on June 9, 2021 with the topic &#8220;Marketing and Advertising&#8221; with lecturer Gergana Ivanova, Managing Partner in the advertising agency &#8220;The Smarts Group&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the lecturer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ganeta Tsolova is the owner and manager of a small consulting company for accounting services and tax consulting. She has an economic education from the University of World Economy and is professionally involved in taxes, accounting and finance in the field of tax administration, private sector and public administration. In 2020 Ganeta is one of the finalists in BASE Lovech, where she is developing a project for a small farm for organic greenhouse vegetable production, which has already started.
