\nTraining on Supply Chain Management was held on January 29th at the office of Siemens Bulgaria. In her presentation, Milena Dragiyska draw attention to the optimization of processes and the participation of all employees in it. “It’s the A and Z of every business, because every year has something to change,” said the CEO of Lidl Bulgaria. Proper management of the supply chain prevents waste from an early stage. Each of the elements is important – from attention to raw materials and packaging through defining the range and choosing suppliers to logistics and managing the goods in stores”.
\nMilena Dragiyska presented in details Lidl Bulgaria’s approach in promotional campaigns planning of certain products. Their choice is related not only to the passport data of the product – price, weight, margin, but also to its market characteristics – how interesting it is, is it relevant to the season, what kind of customers it targets. This is always discussed when planning promotions. Ordering goods for our thematic weeks has a time horizon of 9 months ahead, which is a big challenge because trends, tastes and customer preferences change very dynamically “, she added.
