On February 23, the participants in BASE Lovech 2022/2023 received their awards and certificates. 

The event took place in the Baroque houses with the participation of the mayor, Cornelia Marinova, and Nancy Schiller, President of the America for Bulgaria foundation.

Participants in the training program, called “Plan your dreams,” of the Business Academy for Startup Entrepreneurs (BASE) were entrepreneurs from Lovech and the surrounding towns. The academy started on Nov. 27, 2022, with classes being held every Thursday and ended with 17 business projects, some of which received awards.

First prize was awarded to Rositsa Kriviradeva for her Art-Cafe-Bookstore, “Making Miracles Happen at Rossi’s”, second prize went to Tsvetoslav Tsonev, and the third one was given to Miroslav Alexandrov. Encouraging awards were given to Radoslav Ivanov, Ralitsa Icheva, who also received the special award of the Municipality of Lovech – a voucher, as well as to Petya Gekova.

The awards were announced by Sonia Demireva, CWBB’s Administrative Director, and the official guests included Tsvetanka Mincheva, Chair of the CWBB Board and Chair of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank, the regional governor Eng. Svetoslav Slavchev, Irina Miteva, Director of the Bureau of Labor, among others.
