Business financial planning was the focus of Module 10 at BASE Lovech. The topic was presented by the brilliant Nadia Zaharieva, Director of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technologies of the America Foundation for Bulgaria. The information on how to form a sales forecast, how to build informed forecasting and planning for business activity was thoroughly examined.

Participants received detailed answers to their questions and guidance on their business plans. Guidance was also given on how to successfully plan finances in the organization.

About the lecturer:

Nadia Zaharieva is Program Director, “Business, Entrepreneurship and Technologies” at the America for Bulgaria Foundation. She graduated in International Economic Relations at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. She has 19 years of experience in investment and banking. She was an “Investments” Manager in the hotel financing program at BAKB, and before that at the Bulgarian-American Investment Fund. From her, BASE participants (now 32 cohorts) learn the principles of financial planning. How to determine the start-up capital needed to start a business, what income and profits to expect, what is important to know for creating your business plan.
