The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria joined FCEM’s big family at the organisation’s world congress in Marrakesh yesterday. At a special hearing during the FCEM Chair Council, Mrs. Tsvetanka Mincheva, Chair of CWBB’s Board of Directors, presented an application, as a result of which the organisation acquired an observer status for a period of one year. After the end of this first step, the Bulgarian women’s organisation will officially be a full-fledged and sole member of FCEM from our country. The congress in Marrakesh takes place November 2-4 under the theme, “Stronger sustainable growth together”. Representatives of women’s power in business from 63 countries are participating in the annual gathering this year, where they share their experiences and ideas for sustainable growth in the difficult times of the modern world.
“It is a great honor for us to be part of FCEM, an organisation with traditions and experience, and we are very happy that it is CWBB that will represent our country in this organisation,” shared Tsvetanka Mincheva after the hearing.
The CWBB delegation in Morocco also included the members of the organisation’s Boardm Irena Tsakova and Gergana Ivanova.
FCEM was established in 1954 and it has 75 member countries from 5 continents. Each country is represented by a single women’s association with a strong contribution to business development in its country.
