The participants in the forum will discuss important topics related to the promotion of green transformation and the contribution of women

The main goal of the networking events of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria (CWBB) is to stimulate acquaintance and relationships between the members of the organization, as well as to promote active communication and the sharing of good business practices.

“Morning coffee with the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria” is a new initiative of CWBB and is a 60-minute online meeting with a very dynamic program for all members of CWBB and the Alumni Club. Besides presenting interesting and useful topic for the participants, the program also includes short group discussions in break-out online rooms with a small number of participants. The goal is to provide an opportunity to get to know each other and talk with more members of the CWBB. For each discussion, a specific topic/question/task is set, on which participants share ideas, experience, inspiration.

The program started with welcome words from Darina Stoyanova, Head of the Networking Group and Executive Director of Prestige 96. She briefly presented the idea of Morning Coffee – an initiative that the Networking Working Group undertakes.

After that, Tsvetanka Mincheva, the Chairperson of the CWBB, briefly gave important information about the activities and initiatives of the organization. She explains what is happening at the moment, how the Council is organized, what are the challenges to the CWBB and what are the most important things that are happening, as well as what is ahead by the end of the year.

Tsveti Mincheva announced the current and upcoming events:

1. Base Lovech in cooperation with the “America for Bulgaria” Foundation – launched on October 27 in Lovech

2. Leadership Academy, which started on November 3 for the 9th year in a row

3. National awards of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria 2022, which will be presented on November 14 at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, when the results of the National Representative Survey on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, will also be announced.  The survey was conducted by the “Trend” agency at the initiative of CWBB.

4. “Succeed Together” Mentoring Program, which is currently running and will have a midterm event on October 31st.

The topic discussed by the participants in “Morning Coffee” was: “The new time, marked by a pandemic, recession, inflation, uncertainty and lack of predictability, brought to the fore certain leadership qualities in business. In your opinion, what are the roles and qualities of team leaders that need to come to the fore today in order for teams to be more successful in the future?”

After the discussion topic was presented, each participant was randomly assigned to a break-out online room with other participants and a moderator. After the end of the session in the break-out online rooms, all participants were transferred to the common room for conclusions.
