A delegation from the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria was part of the congress of the partner Italian AIDDA (Associazione Imprenditrici Donne Dirigenti d’Azienda) in Florence, Sept. 16 – 18, organized for the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the organization in Tuscany.

Hosts were Paula Butali, President of AIDDA Tuscany, and Antonella Giachetti, President of AIDDA Italy. CWBB was represented by Dr. Eng. Boryana Manolova, CEO, Siemens, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Ukraine, and Chair of CWBB between 2013 and 2022, Zoya Paunova, Honorary General Consul of the Kingdom of Sweden and Chair of CWBB’s group for international cooperation, Darina Stoyanova, Executive Director, Prestige, and Chair of the networking group, and Gergana Manolova, sustainable development manager at M-Gaz EOOD and Chair of the communication group.

The meeting was part of the international cooperation between the two organizations. In June, a delegation from AIDDA visited Bulgaria and the Chairs of the two organizations signed a memorandum of cooperation. Then the two organizations, which have common goals, promised each other to cooperate in organizing business visits and activities with Bulgarian and Italian companies. Such activities include economic and trade exhibitions, symposia, seminars on project cooperation, sample demonstrations and literature for products and services. The partners will cooperate in organizing investment and trade missions exchange at government level.
