Human resources management was the focus of BASE Gabrovo’s Module 12 with speakers Zoya Paunova and Dean Popov
Module 12’s topic, Human Resourcea Management, was particularly attractive and inspiring as it refers to the most important capital of any business and activity.
During the module, the participants received answers to the following questions:
- What are the key leadership skills for building a successful team?
- What is the vision of the leader, how to define it and how to communicate it to the people in the company?
- What are the stages of building and developing teams?
- How to motivate employees?
The participants discussed the main roles and responsibilities of team members and how to properly select employees in order to achieve the desired business goals. The participants were also curious about adaptive leadership as an environment for team development.
About the speakers: Zoya Paunova, Honorary Consulate of Sweden, with a Master of Pharmacy and dedication and love for science and innovation in the field of medicine and technology. With business education at INSEAD, France and specializations in the UK, Sweden and the USA, three decades of rich professional experience in the leading bioscientific pharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca, and an employer of the year for three consecutive years.
Dean Popov is the Commercial Excellence Manager at Astra Zeneca Bulgaria. He has a medical and long-time commercial practice in the field of pharmaceutical products. His interests include psychology of communication, innovation and technology in customer relationship management, new sales channels, digital marketing. The opportunity to be able to help all participants build skills that are key not only to making successful deals, but also in their daily interactions with people is what motivates him to join the BASE program as a speaker.
