The participants in the Summer Academy visited the Presidency of Republic of Bulgaria, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the place where the most important decisions for the country are made.

They walked on the path of the official guests through the “Coat of arms Hall”, “Green Hall” and the “Board room” and learned details about the protocol, the order for welcoming guests and notification of awards. The youth were able to look at the work of Bulgarian authors, which are exposed in the halls and corridors, as well as the gifts given to the presidents of Bulgaria as a sign of good relations with other countries. During a discourse the participants learned interesting facts about the history of the building and highlights from the protocol of the institution.

The day continued with the extremely interesting lecture “Personal Finance” with Mr. Oleg Grigorov, certified financial advisor for individuals. He familiarized the participants with the topics what is personal finance, what is the difference between personal and corporative finance, what is financial planning and what are the types of planning, what are shares and obligations and what are the differences between them.

The young people learned to differ between fixed and non-fixed income and got advice on how to invest. Oleg Grigorov shared interesting facts about diamonds and how they are traded, and for a final he recommended several books, that could help the participants in the Academy to understand the world surrounding them better.
