CWBB discussed with Minister Lilyana Pavlova the inclusion of the Global Forum of Women Leaders 2018 in the Program of the Bulgarian EU Council Presidency

The opportunity to include the Global Forum of Women Leaders 2018 in the program of the Bulgarian EU Council Presidency was discussed during a working lunch by members of the Board of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria with the Minister of the Bulgarian Presidency Mrs. Lilyana Pavlova and the Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Policy Mrs. Zornitsa Rusinova.

They united around the view that Bulgaria should actively use its upcoming presidency to overcome the negative perceptions of our country in the European Union. In their words, Bulgaria has a lot to brag about like opportunities for realization and good practices, but positive examples need to be presented to the world in an even more convincing way.

CWBB members stressed that the Global Women’s Leaders Forum, which had a great success and positive reaction in 2016, was one such opportunity and hoped that the event scheduled for the spring of 2018 will become part of the program of the accompanying events of the Bulgarian Presidency.
