Dr. eng. Boriana Manolova – Chairperson

CEO of Siemens Bulgaria

Dr. eng. Boriana Manolova is the CEO of Siemens for Bulgaria, world leader in the electrification, automation and digitalization. Her professional career path begins in the Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor. Soon after she is appointed Regional director of the Foreign Investment Agency seated in Ruse. Between 1998 and 2007 she manages successfully the Bulgarian business of Atlas Copco Lifton, part of the Swedish group Atlas Copco – leader in solution for mining, energy and construction industries.

Boriana Manolova has a Master degree in Corporate Finance from the Business Academy in Svishtov, a Master degree in Micro-electronics and Doctor degree in Energy management in the industry from the Ruse University.

She is the Chairperson of the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria, deputy-chairperson of the Management board of the Confederation of the Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria as well as a member of the Management Board of Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum.
In 2014 Dr. Manolova was elected Mrs. Economy by the respected Economy magazine.

Diana Maneva

Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of Armeec Insurance JSC

Ms. Maneva has graduated in International Economic Relations and Banking Management at the UNWE, Sofia and has more than 19 years of experience in the insurance business, 10 years of which she was member of the Management Board and Executive Director of Generali Group companies in Bulgaria. She is a proven expert with extensive management experience. Since September 2016 she is Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of Armeec Insurance JSC – one of the largest Bulgarian insurance companies, part of Chimimport PLC.

Julieta Serafimova

General Manager of Grand Hotel Sofia

Julieta Serafimova is the General Manager of Grand Hotel Sofia and the director of business development of Sofia Hotels Management – an organization for management of the other two NIKMI hotels – Central Park Hotel Sofia and Suit Hotel Sofia. Mrs. Serafimova has over 20 years of experience in hotel management and tourism. She studied General Management in the UK and strategic hotel management in EHL in Lozana, Switzerland, one of the most prestigious hospitality schools, and Cornell University in the US, where she completed a special general management program. In 2012, the Bulgarian Hotels and Restaurants Association chose her as the manager of the year.

Eng. Vanya Kaneva-Minkova

Director of “Human Resources and Administration” in VP Brands International

Eng. Vanya Kaneva-Minkova holds a Master degree in Industrial Automation and a Master of Business Administration. A member of CIPD, UK. Over the past six years Vanya Kaneva held the position of Director “Human Resources” in CEZ Bulgaria. Before that she was deputy. CEO and director of “Human Resources” in Overgas Inc. She has over 30 years of experience in vocational education and training,human capital development, selection, evaluation and personnel management in companies and associations in the industrial services and energy utilities sectors. In the period from May till October 2016 Vanya was the Executive Director of CWBB.

Zoya Paunova

CEO of Astra Zeneca Bulgaria

Zoya Paunova is the CEO of Astra Zeneca Bulgaria. She has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She has a Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the Medical Academy of Sofia, with a specialization on Organization and Optimization of the Pharmaceutical Work. She also studied Business in INSEAD, France and did specializations in the UK, the US and Switzerland. She is actively popularizing corporate social responsibility. She is the deputy chairwoman of the Bulgarian Forum of Business Leaders.

Maxim Maier

Editor in Chief of Manager Magazine

Mr. Maxim Maier is the manager and the editor in chief of Manager Magazine. He gained a lot of editorial experience when he was working in other periodicals. He studied Journalism in SU “Kliment Ohridski”. He is a board member of Superbrands Bulgaria 2012-2013.

Darina Stoyanova


Mrs Darina Stoyanova is the General Manager of “Prestige 96″ AD since the end of 2014. Before that she she worked in “Henkel” for 14 years, including the position of President of “Henkel Bulgaria between 2005 and 2014 and General Manager „Detergents and cleaning agents“ for Bulgaria and Albania, and from 2011 on, Romania and Moldova.

Tsvetanka Mincheva


Tsvetanka Mintcheva is Head of Retail Banking Division of UniCredit Bulbank since September 2013. She started her career at the bank in 2001 as an intern and since then she has held various sales and management positions in Retail Banking Department, including sales associate, family banking manager, branch director, customer acquisition manager.

Since 2007, Tsvetanka Mintcheva has worked on the development and implementation of the strategy for alternative channels of the bank as a Head of Alternative Channels Department. In 2013, she took a leading role in the Group project for opening the first ever Branch of the Future in Central and Eastern Europe, which is located in Sofia. An economist by education, she also has completed a MBA program in International Business.

Valentina Dikanska

Executive director of CWBB

Ms. Dikanska specialized marketing and management in Mainz, Germany, then worked as an expert. In 1999 she took the responsibility for the internal audit for Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia of a large German company for hair cosmetics. She has over 15 years experience in the chemical industry. Ms. Dikanska is a member of the Board of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce. In the period from June till October 2016 she worked as Director of international projects and programs of CWBB. Since October 2016 she is the Executive director of CWBB.
